NGC PF69
This Series I $300 gold coin from Premium Gold series of the Royal Canadian Mint features images of ancient Greece and modern Vancouver on the reverse. Victory carries a laurel wreath to crown the athletes. Mercury speeds towards the finish. The games torch burns, and the skyline of the new host city awaits the return of athletes from around the world. A ring of spectators anticipate new world records.
Struck to commemorate to Vancouver 2010 Olympic Winter Games, this 2007 coin is minted in a substantial quantity of precious metal. It contains 1.93 ounces of gold and silver (58.33% gold, 41.67% silver) and is a dramatic 50 mm in diameter.
With only 2,500 minted, they're rapidly disappearing.
