In the late 19th and 20th centuries, payments made by the U.S. to banks in Europe usually came in the form of gold bullion or gold coins. Had our small cache of coins been in America instead of European vaults when FDR took the U.S. off the gold standard, these coins would most likely have ended up in the melting pot and lost forever. We are currently offering a limited number of these coins, each guaranteed to be dated prior to 1900. Each U.S. gold coin has been authenticated, graded and encapsulated by either NGC or PCGS. Coins are housed in a deluxe presentation case and include a storycard, Certificate of Authenticity and a poster replica of the Gold Recall of 1933.
