2009 $50 Gold Buffalo Early Release MS70
The U.S.Mint has just released the highly anticipated of 2009 99.99% (24K) 1-Troy Ounce Gold Buffalo. Graded MS69 by Numismatic Guaranty Corporation, each of these gleaming gold coins has also been certified to be an “Early Release”, meaning they were struck in the first 30 days of production.

Steeped in American history, the original James Earle Fraser design remains one of the most beloved images ever to grace U.S. coinage. The design first appeared on the Type 1 1913 nickel and was brought back from extinction with a commemorative silver dollar in 2001.

In 2006, the 1 ounce $50 Gold Buffalo was released and became an instant classic. The tradition continues with the release of these 2009 Gold Buffalo coins. Individual coin will arrive in a protective NGC holder.
