The Last Morgan in Gem Condition

Morgan Silver Dollar In 1904, after a run of 27 years, the Morgan Silver Dollar series came to an end — or so everyone thought. Paper money had become much more acceptable all across the United States by the Turn of the Century and even the “Wild West” wasn’t so wild anymore. But thanks to the Pittman Act, The Morgan Silver Dollar returned in 1921 after a hiatus of 17 years for one last bow, never to be struck again.

Under the terms of the Pittman Act, the government was empowered to melt as many as 350 million silver dollars, convert the silver into bullion and then either sell the metal or use it to produce subsidiary silver coinage. As the last of the series, these 1921 Morgans are true classics as collectors love the first and last of any series.

Not only can you get the last Morgan struck by the Philadelphia Mint, but you can get it in stunning Mint State 64 Gem Brilliant Uncirculated condition. This magnificent specimen features exquisite luster and has virtually no surface flaws. Plus, it has been graded, certified and encapsulated by a third-party grading service coin and comes displayed in an acrylic coin slab. Don’t miss your chance to obtain the last Morgan in a grade few collectors ever have the opportunity to own.
